Hi,

Could not reply in the previous post so hereby my 3 additional pages:

Well I got to know myself a little bit in the past few weeks. First that I have some trouble exactly following instructions, second that I had a hard time handling critique but most important I realized I shouldn't be a cry baby and take it as an opportunity to learn, it's the whole purpose of these critiques after all. Anyway that's why it took so long (again).

The images are in reverse order. Which means the first image is the last one I drew, I think you can see the improvements even over these 3 pages. I got a bit carried away with all the bumps and muscle on top of the cow and horse legs. I feel like 3/4 views make it easier to show all the bumps.

Howdy,

So this took me a looong time but I've commited to it and I feel like I've learned a lot. The pictures are in order of creation. Looking forward to your feedback.

Here we go: https://imgur.com/a/hkoNO8c

I has taken me a long time because lack of motivation when things dont go well. Copying your drawings and doing some studies eventually helped me over these hurdles.

Failed drawings are also included :)

Lesson 3: https://imgur.com/a/SAwMt

Give it to me ;-) So happy to finally draw non-abstract things after the 250 box challenge. I've noticed that I was resistant to get started drawing on a blank sheet but this got less once I got more confident. I don't like many proportions like on the lotus flower but I guess practice makes perfect.

Got the ok for the 250 box challenge but finished this one as well. Finished with some do-overs for the stuff that went wrong. I probably did to much texture detail because it took a long time.

Okay, this has been a somewhat bumpy ride for me. Got bored a few times so did some "exercises". Played around with some various depths and vp distances as well. I think I have somewhat control over these now. On the last 3 pages I stopped playing around and finished with some more "cleaner" boxes.

Thx for the feedback. The box challenge is going slowly but with the feedback and reflection im seeing improvements in my understanding and with the boxes.

Howdy! Here's my homework for lesson 1:

I've started this summer then stopped for a while and picked it up again now for about 2 months, drawing consistently almost every day and really getting into the flow.

Drawing from the shoulder is hard and doesn't give such "pretty" results as drawing from the elbow and wrist but I'll keep at it. There's some additional organic perspective drawings at the end. Ellipsis are getting better now, this is a current example: https://imgur.com/fCArPbB
