The organic shapes were a lot of fun. It feels a bit like magic when you switch the orientation of a squiggle with one tiny line or two.
Those form intersections made my brain hurt.
I made it a little harder on myself by trying to fit too many on the same page, but I think I really learned a lot.
I certainly feel a lot more comfortable moving those boxes around.

Thanks for looking at this.
I've been too cowardly to post so far even though I've moved on as far as lesson 3. Feel free however to tell me to do it all again if necessary.
My boxes were pretty awful, so I drew 250 more of them and saw a lot of improvement. I'll post those in the other thread.
Drawing from the shoulder is certainly taking a while to get used to. I just need to remind myself constantly until it becomes habitual.

Lesson 3
The quality of these is a bit inconsistent I think.
I'm pleased with the weird ball fungus, because I really struggled at first. It looked complicated, so I started worrying about negative spaces and proportions and all that nonsense.
It isn't complicated. It's just a ball with holes in it. I salvaged the scribble!
The leaves will need some work, and I'll give those some more practice.
