Great, thank you!
The advice for solid black and shadows is gold. Actually I think I will try to learn some values, color and rendering next. It would be awesome if you decide to teach those lessons in the drawabox style of learning.
I'm happy to have finally reached lesson 7,there I go.

Hi Uncomfortable, I finished this challenge. For the first wheels I used an underlay I made because I didn't have a good ellipse set. After a few wheels, I decide to spare a few euros for the templates. Got a very complete vintage Rotring ellipse set on ebay, that allowed me to gain speed and precision for the rest of the wheel set.

Yes, I've had some trouble with the convergence of the lines in boxes, I will try to think about all four. I like to redo some basic exercises as a sort of warm up
Wheels there I go!
Thank you

Hi Unconfortable,
I completed the challenge. It was pretty hard, requires a lot of focus and improvement was not always linear.
In the second part (from 150 or so) I tried specially to draw from shoulder and to draw through ellipses, because I realized I was not doing so at the beginning

Hi again, here is the new album. Actually I did a few more than 4 because I was not feeling on track until after a few tries.
There is almost no texture or fur, I might practise that a little if you give some more directions. Thanks again

Thank you for your thorough critique!
I will make some more as you instructed.
Do you have any advice about keeping good proportion? (body/legs...)

Spider and scorpion have way too short legs. I'm not too happy with legs in general

Dear Uncomfortable and fellow students, here are my plants: https://imgur.com/a/rxkxj
And also an attempt at fun with textures.
I am trying to choose models with some complexity, but I have been avoiding "too complex" photos because I feel overwhelmed.
And a question: I used a fery fine pen for small detail and some construction lines (0,03) and a normal one (0,1) for most of the lines. Sometimes I prefer the 0,3 or even a brush for large shadows. Is this OK, or maybe I should use only one pen?
thank you!

Hi, here are my 250 boxes! https://imgur.com/a/mAZ7R
The extension of lines helped me autocorrect some mistakes that I was making and I think helped me gain intuition on how lines should converge to the VP's.
I think I found out that in dramatic perspectives where vanishing points are near, the little mistakes tend to compound faster.
Definitely a valuable exercise.

That's awesome because composition and design are topics we amateurs really need help with. Go for it!
