Thank you for critique. I admit I've had less time to draw lately, and I have tried to finish every drawing I start in the same drawing session.

I'll give each drawing more time. I have indeed been drawing small that is certainly true, I'll take more space.

Sorry about the upload in a strip, it actually started when I was having an issue with upload limit with imgur, and I realized that I could simply save as the scanned papers in photoshop and drastically reduce the size without losing in quality. I will upload each drawing separately from now on.

I'll get started on the 6 pages !

Hello Uncomfortable, here is my lesson 3 homework. As always thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Edit : I did have a question, I know you have already explained that the size of the object we are trying to draw does not matter when choosing the pivot, but I admit some of the finer details, the very small elipses etc... made me really want to simply use my wrist rather than the shoulder. Do you recommend to keep using the shoulder only for now or do we now simply choose the pivot we feel is most appropriate for the form we are trying to draw ?

Thank you for your critique, I will go over each point you've made as I do the exercises as warm up, and watch the corresponding video.

I understand now that I shouldn't have kept the extra lines off the drawing as they help to make the form feel solid. I guess I "tried to draw pretty pictures". Will stop doing that.

Again thank you and good day !

Hello Uncomfortable

Hope you're doing well !

First of all thank you very much for the new videos you have uploaded, seeing you actually do the form intersections exercise made it much less intimidating.

Here is my lesson 2.

Thanks for your time.

Thank you for your critique. Indeed I have been doing the line-extensions after finishing each page, though I admit at first it felt like a huge time sink. After doing a few pages and starting to notice where and what my mistakes were it felt like part of the challenge.

Thank you for the encouragement and for *extending the critique submission period, you didnt have to, I appreciate it. Ill get started on lesson 2 !

Hello Uncomfortable! Hope youre doing well.

Ive had to deal with a few things but now Im happily back and went straight to hammering. Ive taken my time re-doing Lesson 1 completely, and am now looking at the 250 boxes.

After doing a few and finishing the 250, I find I did not really lose much and doing a few everyday with the warm up practice should be enough to put me back on track. But if you feel I should re-do the 250 box challenge Ill get right on that.

Looking at my boxes two things jump at me, first I should use vanishing points that are farther away and second I should get better at drawing the hidden lines. Also sometimes my corrections are questionable

I have included the workflow I used; I thought maybe you could tell if Ive been doing something wrong or just need more practice.

Thanks for your time!

Thank you very much for the in depth explanation! Now that you have pointed it out, I realize I have been ignoring the planes and trying only to have an ellipse that was Inside its perimeter rather than trying to reach each side ! I will work on that.

Im also excited to start the 250 box challenge ! I feel that I am juuust starting to be able to see them and turn them around in my mind, but as soon as I start trying to visualize the hidden part, my brain goes : Application has stopped working and crashes. Some practice is going to help a lot.

Again thank you for taking the time and for answering so quickly.
