Thanks for the very quick turnaround! That Pinterest link must be what I was thinking of. Thanks.

I try really hard to read and follow the instructions, and I always read the whole lesson first as well as rereading each exercise at least once before I do it, but I think I misunderstood some of the instructions this time. I noticed after submitting and looking at your feedback on other submissions I'd made the mistake of using long cylinders, for example. I'll try hard to pay more attention to the details in future.

Thanks for the feedback!

Here's my submission for Lesson 2

Edited to remove my comments, as I noticed below you mentioned that you prefer to not have student comments. The only one I'll keep is a question: I thought previously there was a link to a Flickr album of texture photos and I couldn't find it. Is that still around?

Thanks very much!

Thanks so much for the quick critique!

I see exactly what you mean about those red lines. I don't know why I got mixed up about those ones but I can clearly see the mistake now.

Thanks for the explanation about the Y, too. When I started trying to draw boxes I had in mind near the end, rather than just drawing a Y and waiting to see what kind of box it turned into, I sometimes didn't know how to draw the box I'd thought of with a Y. Now I see the Y won't always be present, so that makes sense.

I'll keep these notes in mind when drawing boxes in my warm ups. Thanks again!

Hi again! Here's my 250 box challenge.

My main concern with this challenge is that I feel I learned to make boxes from all different "Y" shapes, but I didn't learn what "Y" shape to use to make a box I thought of in my head. If I saw it in front of me I had a better chance of figuring it out, and I played with that a bit near the end, but I'm worried I've learned how to do a "trick" using a "Y" shape to draw a box, rather than understanding how to draw any kind of box I want. I'm not sure if I've missed something about the challenge or if I was only meant to get this far in my understanding by this point.

Thanks in advance for your critique!
