Hi Uncomfortable,

Here is the followup to my initial attempt on animal drawings. Seeing that detailed wolf demo really helped. I think I did a lot better this time in applying the constructional technique. Those animal heads are still a bit tricky though. Thanks!

Here is my lesson 5! Thanks for reviewing!

I definitely struggled with trying to visualize the 3d components of animals as I was drawing them. I also found drawing the right proportions for the various parts of the animal's body to be challenging too. However, I feel like I got better on at least the proportions during the set of drawings for this lesson.

The hybrids was challenging in how to put together various animal body parts in a realistic, cohesive manner.

Overall, fun lesson though!

Edit: Just realized I needed to bump up my tier to the $10/month one for this lesson so I just did that on Patreon!

Hi Uncomfortable, here is my redo for Lesson 4. Thanks for pointing out my flawed approach in my last submission. I tried to apply a more constructional method this time and built more complex forms on top of existing, simpler forms. Also, I tried to draw through everything, or at least most things. This was kinda tricky when trying to draw the back legs that are hidden from view in the reference photo. (I ended up guessing on the placement for those)

Thanks for reviewing!

Thank so much for the detailed feedback! I did 2 more pages of branches and 4 more of plants drawings and did my best to incorporate your feedback! Here they are: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cabci9ms2bnxmsf/AAB_GqRFnmw_qK52Vnv0f0F4a?dl=0

Hi Uncomfortable! Here is my completed lesson! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rqek2ua3ijfh87x/AABszwm9djg1ElEl9b-MGUAva?dl=0

I had a lot of fun doing this one. I enjoyed trying to break down the plant into parts to do constructional drawing. However, sometimes my lines aren't drawn the way I intended (ie. they might not curve or go in the direction I had wanted) so I know I need to continue practicing the fundamentals from the earlier lessons.

Thank you!!

Hello! I completed the 250 box challenge! Woohoo!

I uploaded the photos here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/by69zbivao6k0f9/AADSriyFkzgHAm_T1xJ_ljDLa?dl=0

If you click on any of the photos, you can navigate through them easily with left/right arrow keys (So you don't need to keep going back to list view to click on each photo one by one). The red lines are my corrections. I did those corrections in batches as I would finish one or two pages of boxes.

Looking through my boxes, my understanding of perspective definitely improved over the course of this exercise. Sometimes my lines are still wobbly though and I don't always get the line drawn on paper the way I intended it. Admittedly sometimes when I realize I drew that line incorrectly, I'll try to immediately fix it by drawing another line where it should be.

Hi Uncomfortable! I completed the entire Lesson 1 this time. I also re-did the exercises I did last time and tried to make my lines less wobbly.

I found the rotated boxes and organic boxes exercises to be very tricky but also useful in learning about perspective.

Thanks for your critique!

Thank you for bringing the wobbly lines to my attention! I will work on that.

Ah, sorry about not submitting the entire lesson together! For some reason, I really thought that only the Lines section was a lesson by itself.

Thank you for your time! :)
