I am currently working on the Dissections Homework. I understand that this is in the process of being reworked so I am wondering if my understanding is correct for what I'm supposed to do.
I understand that I am only supposed to draw the cast shadows of textures.
It is my understanding that I am supposed to break the silhouette of my sausage form.
How do I break the silhouette of my sausage form with a cast shadow since a cast shadow does not have a form within itself?

So the cast shadows relates to what we draw for our internal marks to convey the textural forms (within the silhouette), but when the silhouette is broken, we still need to use outlines to demonstrate the way in which the overall object's outline has changed.
So in that sense, the notes here continue to be valid.
