Hello, I have stopped creating referenced portraits for almost 2 years now. My skills were very good, I mastered freehand, using grids, my shading and practices of hyperrealism to the point my fellow artists called me a printer. The reason I stopped is I'm not happy anymore and I don't feel a spark while drawing.

But lately I'm getting the feeling to "create", I have been reading manga/ watch anime lately and I felt "I want to express my creativity like this, not just copy something as good as i can"

Soooo...I need tips on where and how could I start, given I have an art experience already. I'm getting a drawing tablet soon and I've been using photoshop for almost 5 years now so transitioning to digital art should be no problem, just need the fundamentals on drawing. Thanks!

I'd recommend asking this over on a more general subreddit, like /r/learnart, /r/learntodraw, or /r/artistlounge. This subreddit is reserved for those working through the lessons on drawabox.com, as explained here, and focuses on the core fundamentals of drawing without any stylistic considerations (although that concept about the fundamentals vs. stylistic choices is something I touch upon early in the course when framing what the course does/doesn't teach, which you can check out here if you're curious).
