Brush / line art help

I use Krita, and Im really struggling with line art, like most the time I line with the marker, but with opacity on its so hard to color?? I love lining with opacity though, because how I can change the darkness with pressure, it makes my lines look so much more dynamic, but the lines are see through ;-; and if I switch to a fine liner, its just a solid black line with no variation Im not sure if this makes sense but I cant figure out what to do here. Any ideas? :,0
