So I couldnt post this to the r/Art sub as they dont allow text posts.

Basically the title says most of it.

I have made digital projects all my life from video movies of skateboarding to start in my teens then to digital editing power point presentations etc in early 20s and now more so pure making of digital art and video and gifs that are worth their message or whatever it is people buy meaning a (Non Fungible Token) so they have no specific value. Their value is as much or as little as the next person is willing to pay.

I have yet to mint any art but I have digital art made that could be sold as NFTs. From Bitcoin mixed up edits to random generated art with configurations or pre programming.

Its the whole finding a suitable niche or type of art that I can make into art that is specific to me and that represents whatever my brand message and also my style consists of. I think I need to get back to the basics and start with some fundamental reading and or study and really I need to search lots of things from what the best 2022 tools are and what is free that os actually worth being g free and or what paid suites I would use would be worth it.

Amy help or directing or sharing is welcome ask anything I am involved in many subjects on Reddit and in life. So the content material isnt an issue. Its pure creativity I have found hard for it to manifest. Really its never at home I have to be out .. or at least thats when I notice I do get more creative and at places like a library or a cafe with little traffic ect. So what can I do here?

Also I want to or need to know what business I would need to have or if a sole trader and a ABN is all I need to sell my own art? As I would be working on my own and the only business I would be doing is making my own art and or requests for signatures or like edits of specific photos in a specific way or a business logo or website logos ect. A sole trader can do this yes?

Try asking this over on /r/learnart (assuming they are friendly towards NFT related discussions, although your post isn't strictly about NFTs). This subreddit is reserved for those working through the lessons on drawabox.com, as explained here.

As you noted with /r/Art, each subreddit has its own specific submission guidelines, so be sure to check them before posting to ensure that the community is suitable for the conversation you're trying to have.

I would also recommend asking that last question in a subreddit about accounting for your country of residence, as laws vary from place to place.

Generally I do believe most countries allow for the kind of business you're looking to conduct as a sole proprietorship, with the primary reasons for incorporation being to shield yourself from potential liability, as well as to help reduce your tax burden. There are other benefits however - I for example incorporated my business after many years of running it as a sole proprietorship in order to provide a much clearer distinction and pay myself a consistent salary with income taxes being deducted before they reach my personal account (rather than having to shell out tens of thousands at tax season and never really knowing how much of my money I can actually spend without issue).

Of course, that's my experience in my own legal jurisdiction (Canada) so your mileage may vary. Honestly your best bet is to consult with an accountant.
