I really like this video format! Are you planning more like this, or is it a one off thing?

I do have a number of topics I'd like to touch upon, so it's not a one-off. I do however have other things higher on my to-do list, including a pretty hefty rerecording spree of the lesson video demos/lectures. Many of them are several years old now and are due for some updating.

Great video! For me listening to music helps me overcoming the fear of starting a new page since my mind is more "busy" paying attention to the beat/lyrics than about my fear.

Are you planning to post more videos where you talk about a topic that isn't linked to any DAB lesson?

Yup! For now updating a lot of the recorded video demos/lectures for the lessons is a higher priority, and I'm going to be starting on that in the new year, but I do want to sprinkle in some standalone videos like this one.

Is this video going to be posted into the lesson pages at all, or will it just be on the YouTube channel?

It's already on page 2 of Lesson 0, just after the whole 50/50 rule thing.

I definitely agree, although usually when I draw/need to concentrate I listen to something without lyrics, having to process the words is really distracting for me.

I like these videos. BlenderGuru, 3d modeling fame, has started drawing figures/characters(2d) and has started a new vlogcast on art in general due to his own fears and challenges in drawing. I can't wait to see what other videos you'll sprinkle on to your channel.

ps I subbed you cause I was sure I did a long time ago but I guess I didn't.

That's awesome! I'll definitely check them out. BlenderGuru's videos have been a huge help to me already, so it'll be interesting to see his perspective on this sort of thing.

you could also grab it on most podcast apps if you just want to listen instead of watch. It's "The Andrew Price Podcast" my google podcast apps carries it.

Oh, it's nice to hear the the Blender Guru is diversifying! I'm going to need to check that out. His videos on 3D modeling are fantastic, I'm excited to see where he goes from here

I love this and I love shifty fishman.

I've been struggling to push past that inertia and actually do more than a couple of lines since finishing up a course mid-November. I probably need to pick this up again and just draw ugly stuff. The most involved thing I've done since then is try to draw myself as a wizard because I have weird aspirations of completing most of the past drawing prompts on the Discord server. :P
