Thanks man, it's great to see this type of thing ! I was wondering if you have any advice to applying constuction to a human body ? I'm not on the construction part of Drawabox yet but wanted to research before hand.

Figure drawing isn't a topic drawabox covers. A lot of similar concepts do apply, but it's not something I'm going to get into any time soon.

Look up a book called "constructive anatomy". I hope it's still in print..

His drawings are so unclear in most of his books. That's my main problem with him. Love his drapery books

I get that. But the building block construction method of figure drawing is what this book is about.

Do you have one of these for the human body and/or head that you can share?

Someone further below asked the same. The concepts apply similarly to the human body, though it tends to be considerably more complex in how they're applied. As such, it's beyond the scope of what Drawabox offers, and won't be something I get into for the forseable future.

I do this for a horse every year when i start a new arts class not nearly as great or detailed, but I teach elementary school ;-)

That's pretty awesome. How do the students respond to the approach?

Really well

They go from I cant draw anything but squiggels to drawing cartoony farm animals within a few weeks.

Heres their watercolorresist turtles that i do the first month of kindergardenclass (drawing white oilpastel on white watercolor paper is hard)
