VPs in Rotated Boxes Exercise

Hi, I've got a question for you guys about the rotated boxes exercise: we know that the vanishing point, when we are rotating along the x axis, slides on it and goes away from the origin of the axis (as shown in the gif), but in the drawings given as examples, the lines always go to the origin, so... which one is the correct way?
I'd say the first one, but I would like to know what you think
