Question about Lineweight and Box's backlines and corners

Hello, guys!
I'm currently at the 36th box of the 250 boxes challenge, and I'm having a really hard time figuring out where and how to put those heavier marks to suggest form and light/shadow. The thing is, I struggle to bring those two concepts together at the same time. Like this, if I try strengthening a mark to show a shadow side of the box, it's form and structure gets wonky, and vice-versa, if I try to highlight depth by making broad lines at the closer side, I can't get the shadow right, even making a line shading at some side or other.
How can I approach and think through to better understand this?
Also, I'm missing every mark with the lines at the back of the boxes I'm drawing, and I know I should be thinking every line as belonging into a set of angles, how they always relate with one another, but when it comes to findind that back corner and aligning those lines, it's get really messed up. What I'm failing to grasp here?
Thank you for you time o/
