Hi Novaquaide!

Your elipses in planes and organic perspective are great, good job!!

In all case, I must demand you again to complete your rotated boxes exercise, you haven't draw the 3 corner boxes that correspond to each side. You're on the right way, but must put more attention into the instructions, keep going!!

Here you have an example of what I'm talking about:

And here I leave you a link explaining the exercise in video.

Finish the rotated boxes exercise

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Hi Kort3,

I think this (https://imgur.com/a/2jgpfn3) is the best of my attempts, I'm really struggling to follow the lines once i get to those corner three, even with colour coding (which usually helps me differentiate easier).

I think to do this better I'd have to go digital, so I could control/limit what I can see.

thanks,

Nova

The Art of Brom

The Art of Brom

Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.

The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
