REALLY LIKING THIS COURSE

This course is making me to see things in a different manner, which is pretty exciting.

Please, if it is best to do any assignment again, I'll do it.

In my opinion it's better and it'd help me.

Most of this was made in first/second tries, so I'm willing to do them again if necessary.

Kindly waiting for your critiques.

THANK YOU, have a nice day.

Putting a different link to the lesson1 so you can still see them in case the other link doesn't work: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1oRehqTH_Zw1Xp9KyurGVC68ET3Txr04V?usp=sharing

Firstly, congrats on completing the first Lesson!

The massive amount of improvement on the second pages of the same exercise really strikes out. Good job with that.

  1. Lines - The trajectory of your lines is very good. Keep it that way, the accuracy will improve quite quickly.

  2. Ellipses - You pretty much nailed them in every single exercise.

You might want to stick to drawing ellipses vertically in the Table of Ellipses exercise though, or only draw the horizontal ones if the height of that table section is tall enough. (so as to avoid a mess)

  1. Boxes - Again, pretty much nailed it.

It seems sometimes some of your shorter lines might be wobbling a bit in worry of overshooting. Might want to pay a bit of attention to that. Nothing major though.

Overall, excellent work. Definitely one of the best first - first chapters I've seen.

(Revising/warming up with 3 exercises before a day's sessions is critically important. Always do that)

Next Steps:

  1. Move on to the 250 Box Challenge

  2. Make absolutely sure to revise any 3 exercises as warmup for the day's sessions.

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
