Hi Jordanasza,

Thank you for your detailed critiques.

I will redo the exercises as you told. However, I'm not really sure what does it mean I missed the straight lines in Rough Perspective. May I ask is that means my lines in boxes are really wobbly and need to try harder to put it straight?

Looking forward to hear your answer.

Kind regards,

Thao

Hi Thaolnt!

So, when I said that you missed the straight lines in Rough Perspective I was talking about the boxes' lines are wobbly and you need to try to put it straight, as you said. Forgive me for not being so clear at that point.

I requested for you do this exercise again because your lines were really good, but in this specific exercise, they are really different than the others (their quality has decreased), being really wobbly.

Thank you for your prompt answer, Jordanasza!

I re-did it today but I still see my lines are still wobbly in this particular exercise. ???? I think something is tricking my mind and I'm so nervous in this one. I'll redo it and submit to you soon.

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
