Okay, so, first things first, give this section of Lesson 0 another read: https://drawabox.com/lesson/0/4/grinding There's a missing page, too (ellipses in planes, page 2.) For now, I'll look at the most recent pages of each exercise, and try to judge the ellipses in planes exercise from that one page, but try to be more mindful of the page requirements next time, please.

The superimposed lines look good, though, for the arcing ones, you seemed to be a liiitle too focused on accuracy. It's okay to miss the guideline, at this stage. So long as the resulting line is confident. I notice a little bit of an arc in your ghosted lines. As per the instructions in the common mistakes section, see if you can arc in the other direction, to fix it. Also, here too, try to be a little less conscious of the end point. Rather than hitting it, it's more important for the line to be smooth, and straight (i.e. not arc at the end.) Finally, though they're present sometimes, all of the non-diagonal center lines of the planes need start/end points.

The ellipses are quite confident, but be sure to roster around them 2 full times, if you can. In the ellipses in planes exercise, it looks like you're prioritizing goal #2: hitting all 4 sides of the plane, more so than goal #1: making sure the ellipse is smooth, and circular. Finally, in the funnels exercise, remember that the purpose of the minor axis is to split an ellipse into 2 equal, symmetrical halves. What this means is that the ellipses cannot be titled- they need to be standing straight.

Thank you so much for your critique. I think I lost some pages of my homework in upload or "scanning".

I am going to work on rereading the lesson 0 and 1 and redoing the homework since I have had a long break.

With the Super imposed Line I have notice my arcs at the end. I have tried pushing and pulling. I think I do move my wrist at the end of the line trying to find the point.

You are dead on with the ellipses. My mind is alway like " Did you hit top, bottum, and sides?"

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
