Advice on interpreting the pelvis from awkward positions

I didn't realize I had posted this in the sketchbook section and couldn't delete that post which makes this repost awkward for me so I apologize if this feels like spam.
This is some older 3D mannequin practice I did before going on an art break but still never figured out the fundamentals on how to tackle. I can't really tell how it's drawn here, It looks like a rectangular torso, then a rounded box for the stomach/back as it's bent forward, then a cylinder with rounded edges as the pelvis.
But because I can't tell how the pelvis looks internally, I don't know how its 3d form is constructed.
Any advice is appreciated. This was from the Tom Fox Anatomy book page 46.
