Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

thank you
Just a drawabox beginner dropping by...
sorry for the poor spelling
Super-imposed lines, very good, but don't arch your longer lines, it's okay if it isn't accurate, focus on making it straighter
Ghost lines, these are pretty clean, advance on to the next level by focusing more on not undershooting it or overshooting it
Ghosted planes, that's pretty clean, good job
Table of ellipses, drawing ellipse is hard, you would get better by practicing more, as for the vertical ellipses the size is bit too incossistent from the others, don't be afraid to push it out a little
Elipses in planes, some of them picnhes, specially when plane comes toward, don't be afraid to push out a little
Ellipses in funnels, these are good, i suggest you should draw bigger ones in the future
Plotted perspective, yeah it's good.
Rough perspective, you would get better at perspective guesswork as you draw more, i personally suggest gosting from your marked point to vp, to prepare your arm for the line
Rotated boxes, it's deformed bit, your axes should've been square, it's bit too longer than it's wide causing incossistences through the boxes, eventually derailing them
Another thing to focus on is the bottom plane of your boxes, don't forget about them, even if you are drawing from the top plane, keeping bigger picture about the shape in your mind will help to indentify such inconsisstences
Good luck on your pursuit
Next Steps:
Move onto the next lessons
thanks :D
While you have already received critique from a community member, I do want to point out that if you want official critique from Uncomfortable or one of the TAs, you'll need to resubmit this for official critique using your credits. If you don't care about official crits and just want to support what Uncomfy is doing here at DaB, then let me know and I'll go ahead and agree with KottonPen's crit so that you can get your lesson 1 badge ^u^
Thanks a lot I actually resubmited my work for official critique! :)
\o/ sounds good!
Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
