I had trouble getting the arcs right on the Funnels exercise and I admit to have lost it with the Rotated Boxes Exercise... The corners got to me and I lost my patience a little bit.

Im open to any and all critique, so please do not hold back.

Hello!

Some of the lines are a bit curvy, remember to draw from your shoulder and to rotate the page when you need to, but overall they look really good and confident!

The ellipses look good too, although you drew through some of them more than three times. Remember to ghost as much as you need to, but just draw them two times, or three at the most. Also, on the funnel exercise, remember that the minor axis should cut the ellipses in two symmetrical halves!

The perspective exercises are fine too! But remember that you shouldn't draw some of the lines so many times, right now confidence is more important than accuracy, so even if you drew a line that wasn't really accurate, it doesn't matter, they'll be more accurate with time, don't rush and ghost them until you feel confident! And the same goes to lineweight: if you want to add some lineweight to some of the lines of the boxes, do it with confident lines.

Next Steps:

250 box challenge! And don't forget to do some of these exercises as warm ups, try not to rush and take your time. Good luck!

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
