Hello, I'll be critiquing your lesson 1 work

Lines

-Starting with superimposed lines, you did a nice job and kept the linework confident and smooth. There is expected fraying at one end, but you did well at keeping it to one side. This will defintely improve will more practice.

-Ghosted lines are off to a great start as well and I see that you gave them a clear and consistent trajectory. Some of these lines do look like they were repeated which can make mistakes more clear. Confidence matters more than accuracy, but I'm sure you won't have any issues with this in the future. Overall, these turned out nicely.

-The ghosted planes excercise is similar to the lines and I do see that you are committing to your marks without repeating. These are turning out great as well.

Ellipses

-Table of ellipses is turning out nicely and I notice that you kept symmetry and roundness to your ellipses, which is what you should always aim for. Some of your ellipses do seem to be drawn through more than 2-3 times; it is preferable that you draw through only 2 times. Otherwise, these ellipses are turning out very confident.

-Ellipses in planes follow the same rules that I mentioned above. Another thing I want to mention is the shape of the ellipses. They should always be well rounded and symmetrical at each end even if they don't touch all of the contact points. It isn't necessary to modify the shape to touch the boundaries since you can only change the width and what position the ellipse is in. Here is an example: https://d15v304a6xpq4b.cloudfront.net/lesson_images/dc19ce85.jpg

-Your funnels excercise is looking confident, but there are some issues with the alignment and shape of them. I'm sure with further practice these will get better.

Boxes

-Rough perspective has some confident line work, but just remember not to repeat any lines as to avoid making mistakes more obvious. The estimates for the vanishing points are a bit off, but this is nothing to worry about as long as you practice more.

-The rotated boxes are turning out well and you gave a good attempt at the rotation of them. I recommend giving yourself some more room in between boxes so it's easier to ghost and mark your lines.

-Finishing up with the organic perspective, I notice that you attempted the perspective of the boxes, but there are still some issues. Any problems related to these box excercises will be addressed in the 250 Box Challenge.

I will go ahead and mark your lesson as complete and you can move one :)
