Hello! Good work on completing lesson 1. Here's my critique!
Before I start the critique, do try to ensure that the pages are done in the correct order in the future in terms of the exercises, meaning superimposed lines, then ghosted lines, ghosted planes etc. This makes critting easier.
Lines: In general, good work. I see confidence in your lines, with little wobbling, and they're relatively straight to boot. Of course, there's some arcing here and there, but I think you understand the concepts of the pivots of the arm well enough, such that this is but an occasional error. But, on your superimposed lines, I see that the lines are relatively messy. Here, I believe that you adhered too much to the accuracy of the original line. Do remember that the smooth confident line comes before an accurate one.
Ellipses: Some of your ellipses are mishapen. You have some egg shapes, and some flat edges. Try to remember to ghost mindfully when doing your ellipses. This generally reduces the issue of the ellipse going too haywire, and allows you to make an ellipse which is more smooth. In the funnels exercise, some of your ellipses are misaligned, so do take care to ghost with the minor axis in mind.
Boxes: Here, I see the issue of the lines becoming wobbly. As I have mentioned previously, you need to ensure that the line comes out smoothly, even at the expense of accuracy. In addition, don't redo your lines, as this only draws unwanted attention to that point. With regards to the organic perspective exercise, I think you've done a decent job in selling me the idea of the 3D space, box construction aside. In future tries of this exercise in warmups, do try to use line weight to clarify overlaps between the boxes.
Zooming in on your rotated boxes, the main thing that stands out to me is that you've drawn way too many boxes. There should only be 25, as shown in the exercise. In addition, you've failed to draw through your forms in some of the boxes. Some of the boxes aren't even complete, missing one or more vertices. See: https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notdrawingthrough. In addition, your boxes aren't converging properly in the bottom face. This fails to show the idea that the box is rotating due to the changing vps. I suggest giving this a read. It does a decent job at mentioning how the boxes work.
Overall, I think you've done a decent job at the exercises. I don't quite think you're ready to move on (more on that later) but I think you've grasped the concept in most of the exercises. Remember to adhere to the 50/50 rule, do your warmups.
Next Steps:
Before you carry on to 250 boxes, I want you to try the rotated boxes exercise. Just 2 quadrants this time, not the full thing. Read through the guide I sent you, re-read the exercise thoroughly, and watch the rotated boxes video if you can. I'm not to fussy as to which 2 quadrants. They can be adjacent, opposite, or on 2 separate "+"s. I'll leave that to you. Good luck.
