Lesson 2: Contour Lines, Texture and Construction

Really looking forward to your critique, I feel that "transcribing the illusion of 3D" is one of the areas I need to improve, so I'd be interested to know which exercises I should practice the most.
For textures, I feel like I started to get the hang of it during the dissection exercise, the texture analysis page was rough as it was new to me. Dissection is a really fun exercise.
As expected, intersecting shapes was hell, it took me 3 days to even get an idea of what intersections would be like, not just drawing random shapes. I can see some of the mistakes I made, but I can't correct them because it's ink. I'm not sure about the level of quality of the shapes, I tried to make them as clear as possible so the result would be readable, but I feel the structure took a hit.
Anyway, this was the most fun lesson yet, can't wait for the next one!
And thanks for taking time to look at my work, your critiques are really helpful.
