Here it is - what a ride! I tried to do 10-20 boxes per day, starting with a warmup and also drawing for fun.

Definitely struggled with getting the back edge to align - not sure I fixed it or just embraced compensating for errors.

Other thing I still struggle with is highlighting the lines afterward - still pretty messy, even with ghosting.

I definitely feel much more comfortable orienting boxes in space - I tried to play with angles. I'm not entirely sure how to choose how much foreshortening to use. It seems that more foreshortening makes things look dramatic, but not sure how it'd play out in a more complex scene.

It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
