Hi RGBLACK, congrats on completing lesson 1. Here's my critique

LINES

Despite some lines being sometimes wobbly or missing the mark most of them are good and were done with confidence. Seems you have more problems with long distance but overall they are well done. Remember to always take your time ghosting and then executing your mark.

ELLIPSES

The main issue is that you started rushing your ellipses, I recommend that you take your time!! You should always plan with ghosting so you can make better ellipses cause i see that some don't have the right shape or differ a lot from each attempt you do in a single ellipse. Also, remember to do only 2 or 3 attempts at each ellipse.

BOXES

Great work on the boxes! Make sure to take your time when ghosting each line and then executing them confidently, just like the ellipses. Each line is a unit of work you should put your 100% into. Also, NEVER do the same line twice unless the instructions tell you to do so! If you make a mistake while placing a mark, you have to leave it there! Don't try to correct it and move one with what you have learned from that small mistake.

I've marked this as complete, but if you have any doubts be sure to comment down below!

Steven Zapata's Secrets of Shading

Some of you will have noticed that Drawabox doesn't teach shading at all. Rather, we focus on the understanding of the spatial relationships between the form we're drawing, which feeds into how one might go about applying shading. When it comes time to learn about shading though, you're going to want to learn it from Steven Zapata, hands down.

Take a look at his portfolio, and you'll immediately see why.
