Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes
8:53 PM, Friday February 26th 2021
The first image for the "Rough Perspective" exercise comes twice, and I am not sure how to fix it, sorry.
I feel like I have not made the best impression I could of myself. Being completely honest, I rushed somewhat through some of the exercises, including the "rough perspective" and "plotted perspective".
After searching for a proper drawing course, I am happy to have found one I (hopefully) will stay committed to.
The exercises where a lot more fun than what I anticipated - probably due to excitement of getting my work reviewed and critiqued.
Things I find difficult
I have difficulty "closing" my ellipses (You can see a piece of "hair" poking out of some of them)
I have noticed that I stuggle to keep lines smooth and consistent when drawing boxes.
Another thing I find difficult is to keep lines perpendicular / parallell while working with a horizon line.
The rotated boxes / organic perspective exercises were the most challenging ones, but probably the ones I had the best experience doing, because I felt like I was drawing something, rather than just putting some lines on a piece of paper.
Additional notes
I attempted hatching the front plane of the boxes in the "organic perspective" exercise to make it easier to visualize the next box I was going to draw.
Thanks in advance, and have a nice weekend.
