Is there any other way to receive paid critique?

So, as far as I can tell after reading through lesson 0 is that everybody recieves paid critique through the credit system on patreon. But I was wondering if there are other ways since Patreon doesn't support my currency and I'm kinda new to the whole thing. Thanks in advance.

We do not support other payment methods at this time, although while Patreon does specifically allow payments in an ever-increasing number of currencies, that does not mean that other currencies aren't supported.

It simply means that if yours isn't on the list, your payment method would be charged in whichever currency (likely the default we use, which is Canadian Dollars), and then your payment method would convert from your currency. This does however usually incur a small additional conversion fee, though that's dependent on your bank/credit card/etc.

Got it. Thank you very much

The Art of Brom

The Art of Brom

Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.

The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
