So, I can see your lines arch a bit and they sometimes make a wave. The longer the line, the more noticeable it is. I recommend trying to find a good pacing to how you draw lines - e.g. try drawing slow and fast and notice what's more comfortable and smoother. When you make curves (in the superimposed exercise), I can also see a bit of wobbling in there, so keep that in mind in lesson 2 (you can also draw straights first/plan straight lines with dots and draw curves over them).

Sometimes your ellipses don't quite touch the bottom or top (sometimes both) of the plane. Pay attention to how you ghost them, because usually one draws like he ghosted - you could have, for example, ghosted a bit under the plane and therefore drawn the ellipse under it. I see a tendency where you draw slanted ellipses in square-ish planes (the ellipses should be more circle-like) - the ellipse's axis doesn't match with the plane's. If you're unsure as to what should the ellipse look like, you can do something like this: https://imgur.com/a/JbLFzVl .

Your ellipses at times don't touch and overlap the tables they're in (https://imgur.com/a/G5ISi4L). Other than that, they touch each other quite well.

Remember to draw some of the lines - https://imgur.com/a/esOOJVn .

I can see you made some tangents in the organic perspective exercise, watch out for them as they can flatten the image. Next time remember to be careful with the foreshortening, this box looks like it's in front: https://imgur.com/a/jNcWgxd .

Don't have much to say about the rotated boxes - sometimes the lines are or close to parallel when they shouldn't be (https://imgur.com/a/HytLnWm).

And that's all I had to say for now.

Next Steps:

I think you can move onto the box challenge. There you'll practice straights and, of course, boxes.

Thank you so much for going out of your way to critique me! i'll try and apply this advice as much as i can in the box challenge.

Thank you again.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
