Hi Scott! First at all, well done finishing lesson 1. I'm gonna give you my feedback about which things could be improved:
-
Lines Exercises
-
About lines, these looks wobbly. If it's your first time using your shoulder, it is normal that you haven't grasped yet how it works. Simply practice until you feel comfortable (and avoid using your wrist or elbow for this).
-
Other thing I want to note it's confidence on the execution (related with what I said earlier). You must be confident when you execute your line. When it's executed, there are no coming backs (as it can be seen, you repeated some executions on your boxes, for example. It happened to me too, and we need to avoid that!), the line is there, and the result stays as it (unless you want to have a thicker line, which is not the case).

-
Ellipses
-
On table of ellipses, you have wobbly lines. The case is the same as earlier, you need to use your shoulder. Try to have the same confidence as the one you had on the exercises of ellipses on planes!
-
Important: the funnels exercise is missing! Consider making it, or if you already made it, upload it!

Boxes
-
In rough perspective, seems like some lines were not directed appropriately. Be wary of that, and try to make an educated guesswork better than a random guess (https://imgur.com/a/EnX5CzZ)
-
Let's see rotated boxes. This one is a hard exercise, but something that you should be aware of is the rotation on boxes. It seems that the boxes aligned with the reference axis don't rotate correctly (as you can see in this image: https://imgur.com/a/vHhHaiw). How can you fix this? Think of this: when we rotate our box, the lines will be more inclined (https://imgur.com/a/WQIvQT8). This is due to the movement of the vanishing points. Check again the lesson to see what I'm talking about.
-
About organic perspective, first avoid repeating the lines over and over (the thing that I mentioned you in the lines section, unless you are doing this to get a thicker line, where I would recommend you to ghost over the line to get something more accurate). Second, be wary of the boxes dimensions, because some are being changed when you rotate them (and they shouldn't change in that way!)
-
I wrote quite a chunk of text, but I hope this helps you to understand what to improve and check. Most of those things will be corrected over time, with practice, and the perspective aspect will be understood better with the 250 box challenge.
To finish, I would recommend you to keep practicing the execution on your ellipses and lines. Maybe doing a page of table of ellipses or a page of planes will help you on that. Keep it up!
Next Steps:
- Submit the funnels exercises!
