How to get two agreements to move on to the next lesson?

10:49 AM, Thursday September 12th 2024

I submitted my homework of lesson one for review. Someone reacted and according to them I can go to the next level. However, apparently you need two agreements to proceed.

Where do I get the second agreement, as my submission was taken of the board (since someone reacted to it). On Discord I suspect my request got lost in the many questions of other members. And I am not sure if I should it again and again.

Discord is the proper place for these requests, specifically by following the full instructions on the pinned comment of the critique-exchange channel.

Truthfully, as a free-tier user, I wouldn't wait for agreements on your critique before moving on to the next lesson. Heck, I don't even wait for critiques at all on my lessons before starting the next ones - we are not paying-customers and feedback is not guaranteed. The best thing we can do is put in the proper work to get our submission critiqued by the community (again, see the pinned message), and hope for the best. Beyond that, just move on.

The community has no incentives to critique your work unless you go through the proper channels and give back to the community appropriately. I've gone ahead an given an agreement for your lesson 1 (I gave your submission a look and would agree with the critique provided), but in the future you'll need to go through the full critique-exchange process on the Discord.

Hope this helps, good luck and happy drawing!

Hello Cornball

I will properly read though all the instruction that I can find on discord. At least I now know which channel I should post in. I am thankful for your help: the answer to my question with useful tips, the review of my homework, as well as the agreement. With this I can move on!

Have a great day!

Orconomics by J. Zachary Pike

Orconomics by J. Zachary Pike

This is one of my favourite books. It's a fantasy-comedy romp, and the world that J. Zachary Pike has created honestly takes my breath away. There are laughs at every turn, but the story is not without its heart wrenching moments - some for which I have yet to fully forgive the author.

If you're at all curious about the kinds of nonsense I read, or just need something new to sink your teeth into, this is one I can highly recommend. On top of that, being self-published by an indie author, it's the kind of thing where your individual support can go a long way.

P.S: The audiobook, with narration from Doug Tisdale, is especially good, and elevates the story in ways I can't rightly describe.
