Hey there Cask. Regarding speed, the answer is: however long it takes you to do something well. Until you can do something well slowly, you can't do it quickly. The speed increase comes when things are so practiced that your brain relegates them to subconscious actions. Eventually lines need less ghosting, complex forms can be built with less construction, perspective needs less brain power, it's all off these little things that cumulate over time that brings speed. At this point you shouldn't worry about your pace at all and just continue doing each box, each exercise, each whatever to the best of your abilities regardless of how long it takes you. You will learn more by not having the pressure of a clock on you.

So, let's look at some boxes! You have made some good strides in progress through this challenge. One thing I do notice is that at box 125 you stopped hatching and part of me wonders if that isn't related to your concerns with speed. Hatching = free mileage and progress so remember that. Your line work is good, and you do a good job exploring different orientations and rates of convergences. Your sense of convergences improve over time and by the end, you are really locked in. Since you are doing such a good job on that front, I will only briefly mention the infographic for sake of completeness. Give this a read and if you have any questions let me know, but the main point of it is how when we move the vanishing point, ALL lines are affected and the angles between them are so this means we must always consider all parallel lines, both ones drawn and ones not yet drawn, before we put down our marks. Like I said, your converging lines are showing very little in terms of being skewed way off and you are well within the range of acceptable error so it doesn't need to be belabored here. On the boxes you did apply line weight to, like box 243, you did a good job with it and I would have liked to have seen more practice with that. Overall you did a good job, and as you move on don't be preoccupied with your pace or anything like that, just be in the moment and working on improving a little bit from yesterday.

With this your time in the box challenge is officially over. Good job.
