An approach to drawing daisy textures
1:12 PM, Tuesday July 7th 2020
I've been trying to draw some daisies (the ones with the white petals and the yellow centers), and I found that drawing the texture of the yellow center is quite difficult, since there is a spiral-like pattern that goes in both in both directions.
In lesson 3, I realize that texturing isn't the main focus of the exercise. However, I would still really like to know if there is an approach to making it easier to draw things in a more precise manner such as for getting things in a perfect (or at least near) spiral pattern (even when I'm not necessarily it doing it for the homework). Are there techniques covered in later lessons?
Many thanks.
