Thank you for sending me the second page of Superimposed Lines! I now can mark your submission as complete! =)
I don't know if you're already doing it but you should always do warm-ups before doing DAB exercises each day. You pick 2 or 3 exercises at random and then you do them for 10-15 mins. If you feel like you're struggling at a specific exercise, you can do that one more often during warm-ups but you should still do the easy ones too.
Your next step is the 250 Box Challenge. I'll give you some useful tips so you avoid some mistakes that some people do when they first get started.
-
Do 3-5 boxes per page and draw them big (you can look at my profile and look my latest boxes to have a clearer idea on "how big" they should be)
-
Extend the lines in the correct direction (you extend them from the initial Y)
-
Do at least one box per day (this challenge takes a long time so every box counts! - Also, don't do the opposite and overwhelm yourself with too many boxes per day)
-
Hatching while optional helps a lot and you'll see by the end of the Challenge how much better your lines are
-
Try different angles! - This challenge isn't about drawing a perfect box from a specific angle but to understand how do they rotate in space and how the perspective and vanishing points work
-
Join the DAB Discord server - if you post your boxes as you're doing them people will certainly point out any mistakes that you're doing and will offer you amazing tips!
That's all I had to say. Take care! =)
