Hello,

I think you did great and can move on to next lesson,

here's some things I noticed - not really mistakes more like missed opportunities to learn:

  • For arrows apply a bit of line weight on lines that are on top of other lines

  • for dissections yours are mostly with explict textures - try some more with implict ones (dark --> light gradient)

Good luck in your art journey!

Hello,

I will take note and work more in the textures.

Thanks for the feedback.

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
