What schedule is right??

11:33 PM, Saturday September 28th 2024

Hi I am starting to take this course, I wondering what kind of schedule is the best to get the most of it, and to not rush, in my case I have a work shift of 11-11 almost all days except Wednesday s that my day off, I was thinking of doing a lesson, one Wednesday, then wait to next of the next one, to do another one, sorry if this is off topic, but I just wanted to know if this was a good way for my to do this? and also if may I ask, what can I do in between those dates?

thanks

Your work schedule is 72 hours a week? My advice is to just enjoy your day off and not add more scheduling pressure to your workload.

Drawabox lessons are very large and require a lot of time to complete. It is not a good idea to think that you can complete an entire lesson in a single day.

It is better to break each lesson into the various parts and complete one page per day. Give yourself a lot of breaks and take your time.

If you really want to spend your time off learning to draw that is great. Go ahead and get started. But RELAX. Just draw one page at a time and chip away at it. There is no rush. Good luck!

Thanks, I do enjoy to draw on my days off, and thanks for taking the time of answering my question

I have a FT job and 2 kids, I just do one page at a time when I get the chance/feel like it. It's going to take a long time, but that's just what we have to do as busy adults. It really depends on your goals for the course, if you're casual, do it casually

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
