Hey Mimbele, congratulations on completing lesson 1!
I will do my best to give you some advice.
- Lines
-
Overall I can see some degree of wobble in your lines, remember that it is always most important to make smooth, straight and confident lines, even if it means that you miss the mark you were aiming for or that you overshoot or fall short. Use your elbow and shoulder and try not to look at the line while drawing, instead focus on the point where you want to end up and pull through with a confident stroke
-
You don't have a lot of arcing going on in your linework, good job!
-
There is a little bit of fraying on your superimposed lines. While that is a totally normal thing to occur on the end of the stroke, you don't want fraying on the start of your superimposed lines, so you might want to take a bit more time to come back to the starting point before doing another line, but it's not that big of a deal.
- Ellipses
-
Good job on doing 2-3 passes on your ellipse, they are pretty smooth
-
Also they fit really good in the boundaries you created, nice accuracy on those!
-
For the funnels, try doing the arcing lines first and after that draw the middle line in between them, some of your minor axis are a little bit off, the ellipses themselves look good tho! It's just hard to tell because your ellipses should be cut into equal halves by your minor axis, keep that in mind.
-
Good job on being consistent in your ellipses degrees in the table of ellipses exercise! Some overshooting here and there, but you managed to course correct on your second or third pass!
- Boxes
-
Do not redraw lines that went wrong, just pretend they were right and move on, you don't want to give a line multiple passes except when applying line weight, but even then you don't redraw a complete line, but only overlapping parts of the line.
-
I see you drew through your boxes, which is the correct thing to do, nice.
-
On the rough perspective excercise your lines appear wobbly, I'm not even sure if you ghosted and plotted your lines here, as they basically never overshoot and are very accurate, yet pretty wobbly. So remember: Accuracy

You are now ready to tackle the 250 Box Challenge before moving to lesson 2!
Good luck on your journey and I'd love to see you participate in some conversations on the discord! It's best to not work in isolation, rather share your experience with other people, at least that gives me some motivation ;)
