Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Thanks in advance!
Hi, I'll be using the official critique guide to assist with critiquing your Lesson 1!
Lines
Your lines have definitely gotten more confident as you've progressed through this lesson. There are still slight signs of arching (https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/ghostedlines/arc) in your box exercises, which is fine since you're still getting used to drawing with your shoulder, and a majority of your lines are confident. Also in your "Rough Perspective" exercise, it's fine for your lines to be wobbling and arching somewhat, since you're probably tackling perspective for the first time without much assistance, and as you get used to perspective your lines will be a lot more confident.
Ellipses
Great job drawing through your ellipses twice. The main thing I would say you should focus on when doing the "Table of Ellipses" exercise (and also your other ellipse exercises) is to try and keep the ellipse inside of the border while also keeping it "snug" with the other ellipses and touching the border, since a lot of your ellipses do seem to be overshooting quite a bit. Something that might help is ghosting a few more times before you confidently apply the ellipse on paper (https://imgur.com/a/3DTBh0z).
Boxes
Well done with the box exercises, you seem to have a good grasp on how the exercises work. On the "Rough Perspective" good job on keeping the front and back shape of the boxes rectangular and using the correct line correction method. Your "Rotated Boxes" look really good, they all seem to be rotating, and you kept the gaps tight and consistent. Finally on the "Organic Perspective" exercise, a lot of your boxes look confident and consistent with the other boxes, since they all seem to rotate. With the 250 Box Challenge hopefully your knowledge on how boxes work will hopefully be even better!
Congrats on completing Lesson 1 and good luck with the 250 Box Challenge!

Thank you! Now I'm feeling more motivated to learn more!!
Marshall Vandruff is a ubiquitous name in art instruction - not just through his work on the Draftsmen podcast and his other collaborations with Proko, but in his own right. He's been teaching anatomy, gesture, and perspective for decades, and a number of my own friends have taken his classes at the Laguna College of Art and Design (back around 2010), and had only good things to say about him. Not just as an instructor, but as a wonderful person as well.
Many of you will be familiar with his extremely cheap 1994 Perspective Drawing lectures, but here he kicks it up to a whole new level.
