Organic arrows

+These arrows dont look like they are rlly pushing and exploring the depth of the canvas,make sure to apply perspective for future warm up cuz atm they all look pretty flat and 2d.

Leaves:

+Looks like pretty good but some of them arent folding naturally,be sure to rlyl let it twist and bend.

+If you need me to point out the "mistakes" leaves mentioned above,@me on discord.

+Textures on the leaves looks pretty good overall and you seem to have followed the methods when dealing with textures apart from the leaves wuth the giant black blobs on them.

Branches:

+This is a hard exercise so the line quality isnt rlly a huge mistake but dont forget to continue doin it for future warm ups.

+However it looks like you're trying to draw the whole branches in one or two strokes and not following the recomended way of drawing from the first ellipses and overshooting it through the second one toward the path of the third. (I apologize if im wrong about this).

Constructions:

Pic 1:

+Looking pretty good with solid construction and lovely details overall this one gets a 3/5 from me.

Pic 2:

+I could be blind but there's no reference for the second pic so i cant rlly tell which is the top and bottom and your sideway pic didnt help with this.

+Construction wise it looks solid and 3d which is good

+There's a few part where you messed up with the cast shadows and line wieght,try thinking about the light sources for the former and be subtle,only use line weight to clarigy overlapping line and dont make it 999% THICCER than the rest.

+Also there's a part where it seems where you're just using generic hatching to create a gradient between light and dark,while it's a valid method,Drawabox forbid the use of this method.

Pic 3:

+The pitcher plant actually looks pretty good in construction and details.

Pic 4:

+I cant see anything m8

Pic 5:

+The mooshroom is good the only thing here is that you've gone overboard with your cast shadows.

Pic 6:

Good textures but construction is barely visible,keep in mind that textures is good but what we're rlly after here is that ability to create believable solid forms that exist in 3d so i suggest you focus on the construction aspect first before diving into textures

Most of the pieces behind generally have the same problems:

+Leaves flowing unnatural most of the are sticking up.

+Lines look sloppy,wobbly,messy and uncomfident.

+These last pictures looks rlyl low effort compare where as those at the top where they are more refined.

+All the above makes your construction looks really weak.

All in all: If this is the best that you can do atm then it's fine,it's by no means easy,those last construction looks pretty good but the overuse of textures makes it hard to analyze your construction.And the one that have just the construction look sloppy and unfinished.

+But from what i can see from this submission is:

+You're rushing through the process,this is shown through your unconfident lines/ellipses and half ass drawing.

+Focusing a bit too much on textures and not enough on constructions.

+Bottom lines: Good textures but very poor construction from what i can see.

Next Steps:

You need to slow down and take your time with each exercises,rushing through them isnt rlly gona help you at all.

Read the instruction carefully cuz you're making most of the common mistakes already listed on the website.

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
