Hi, I am so lucky that I have found a community like this. I was always curious about those construction lines which is used in professional art. I am really thankful to the creator and members to put into so much work to provide such basic and the most important courses for free. I enjoyed a lot to complete this task. Any critique from anyone will be appreciatable and will give me motivation to go further. Thanks for your time. Have a nice day sir.

You did a good job with your lines. Your lines are confident, and made good use of the ghosting method with a few of them wobbling and fraying but nothing too major. On the ghosted lines and planes, you adjusted your pen before each stroke and did a good on your accuracy. Overall, you did a great job at your lines.

As for the ellipses, most of them touch the four sides and you ghosted them pretty well on the ghosted planes. You occupied every space on your table of ellipses very well, but some of them are not consistent with those in the same tables so it could use some more ghosting. Your ellipses in funnels are good overall, but there are some tilting of the minor axis so that could use some work.

Your rough perspective could use some work because a lot of width lines are tilting a little bit as well for the height lines. So I suggest taking the time ghosting the horizon line and take your time on each line. Your rotated boxes looks really good. The boxes are close to each other and most of them are rotated quite well. I like that you managed to make it a circle but I could see a mistake at the box on the lower right. You will have a lot of time working on your boxes with the 250 box challenge so the mistakes are nothing to worry about.

Overall, you did a good job at this part of the course and all you need is to spend some time working on your confidence and muscle memory on your warm-ups.

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
