I want to restart, but do I have to start over?

I was paying for and doing drawabox 2 years ago when I stopped because of life circumstances (fertility journey, wife's pregnancy, new baby, etc). Now I want to pick it back up since my baby is requiring slightly less from me (8 months -yay!).

My question is - do I have to start over or can I pick it back up where I left off?

I have official critiques all the way up to the 250 box challenge, which I was working on.

I figured I'd run through all the lessons again to remind myself and refresh my drawing arm, but hopefully I don't have to resubmit everything

This is our general rule of thumb for students coming back to the course after a lengthy period away. It largely aligns with what you were planning on doing anyway, but it provides some loose time estimates on how long to do that before getting back to where you left off. Congrats on the baby!

Well, I think this will depends on how you stopped. If you continued to draw and kept working your muscle memory, just do a quick round up on the homework without submitting. But if you completely stopped due to adult life, restart all over again.

The first lesson is about muscle memory, so if you still have it. Keep going and just use it as warm-up.

Orconomics by J. Zachary Pike

This is one of my favourite books. It's a fantasy-comedy romp, and the world that J. Zachary Pike has created honestly takes my breath away. There are laughs at every turn, but the story is not without its heart wrenching moments - some for which I have yet to fully forgive the author.

If you're at all curious about the kinds of nonsense I read, or just need something new to sink your teeth into, this is one I can highly recommend. On top of that, being self-published by an indie author, it's the kind of thing where your individual support can go a long way.

P.S: The audiobook, with narration from Doug Tisdale, is especially good, and elevates the story in ways I can't rightly describe.
