hello my name is Lia and this is your DAB critique! it will be divided in 3 sections

lines:

superimposed look mostly alright although I see a bit of fraying in one of the ends on the first page but on your second page it's actually a bit better and there isn't nearly much.

ghosted lines look steady and confident for the most part but I do notice you going over at least one line once or twice and that's just something one should avoid however since most are one solid line Its not too bad

ghosted planes have the same slight critic from above but otherwise they seem to be perfectly done, not much unsteadiness I can see or wobbling.

ellipses:

tables: there's barely any overlap in the ellipses and all of them seem pretty snug and tight with little empty space among them. very well done.

ellipses in plains: I think they look pretty good, steady lines and the Ellipses are well made and within boarders with pretty snug circles.

funnels: they are quite Good, the ellipses fit and are snugged against each other and fill up the entirety of the funnels and I can see where the minor axis divides the Ellipse.

Boxes:

The plotted perspective is quite good and all I could ask is for you to maybe hatch over the front face as if I remember correctly it's part of the exercise, but the exercise itself is more then complete to me!

as far as rough perspective you seem to have ran into the same problem as me! winch is making a lot of lines run towards the vanishing point when that's not the point of the exercise at all. however this is one the more difficult exercises of lesson 1 in my opinion and even I had to redo it my self. Good luck in your redo!

I must say that your Rotated perspective is very satisfying to look at! You managed to flip the fox around in every angle that was asked and were able to picture the box in a 3d plane. this is a tricky exercise so you should feel proud

At last your organic perspective is also quite Good! The lines were steady and you followed the perspective quite well and managed to execute the exercise well.

Next Steps:

please redo the rough perspective exercise with fixed perspective! then I'll mark it as complete

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Sorry I took a while to reply, I've been rather busy. Anyway, here is the redo: https://imgur.com/a/rATNBtk

The recommendation below is an advertisement. Most of the links here are part of Amazon's affiliate program (unless otherwise stated), which helps support this website. It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.
PureRef

PureRef

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.

When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.

Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
