Hello there, heres a quick review:

your arrows look great and so do your branches. The didn't put a lot of effort in the normal leaves but at least they flow nice.

The mushrooms on your first page of plants are quite good even tho they could use a bit more lineweight on the overlapping edges. They still read good because of your clean ellipses, but that doesn't mean you should skip that step. Also the cactus on the top right is a bit confusing, probably because it is missing some construction lines and the way you've drawn it, it would be flat on the backside.

I like the plants on the second page but the large one is missing a stem, the one on the top left is incomplete at best and you didn't use lineweight in any of them. You also cheated your way out of drawing the petals that extend to the back which are undoubtedly the most difficult ones to draw but thats why we also need to practice them.

The acorn leaf on the next page looks good but it has a too strong perspective for a single leaf I think. The other plant and twig on that page are well constructed, good job. The flower on the bottom right not so much. All the petals bend in different directions which is not how it happens in nature. The width of the petals dont change a lot so you only need to draw it thicker in one part if it bends and yours are all thicker in the middle section for no reason.

So fourth page of the submission is on of the best ones, good job but you really need to reread where to put line weight at overlapping areas. "reinforce your overlaps with a bit of extra line weight. A good rule of thumb for applying line weight at overlapping points is that the line that crosses on top gets the thicker treatment, to establish its dominance" -uncomfortable.

Good job on the cantalaupe, it is a hard plant to draw but you did it decent, maybe just a bit more thickness to the offspringing leafs. For the other plant you should watch that the leafs actually meet in the middle and don't stop at the outer ring.

The large sunflower looking plant is a bit confusing to me because I dont know any plant that has leafs like that but I'm also not an expert so if they actually look like you've drawn them then tell me the name because I wanna draw them too haha. You could have split the construction of each leaf in more sections to make it a bit easier, then you probably wouldn't have forgotten to finish the construction of some leafs. I don't know what to say about the plant below that, it kinda just looks like a penis to me lmao. Same about the next page, its kind of unsuitable here.

Your final page is great because it shows that you shouldn't construct branches and plants without thinking about what you want to draw and then actually thinking about how you go about constructing it because you didn't apply the construction method for leafs here because you wanted to make it look good but that is not the goal of this exercise as uncomfortable always says it.

Overall you did decent but you should go over or your paintings and add a little bit of lineweight and see what difference it makes. Also you didn't really do a lot of texture on most of your plants so I want one large drawing of a plant with texture and then you can pass this lesson. And don't forget to practice the leafs that extend to the back!

Sorry for taking so long to respond, looks fine overall, nice texture analysis

Good luck for the next lesson :) hope I didn't hold you up and you already started drawing insects

No worries. Hope you are doing well :)

I already finished insects xD.

I paid more attention to line weight this time :3

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
