i welcome any critique coz i wanna learn to become a good artist

thanks

Supermposed lines

They look good! Great job.

Ghosted lines

Well done, good confidence.

Ghosted planes

Very nice, overshot the line here and there but it's better to go over confidently than to wobble slowly to hit the dot.

Tables of ellipses

There are spaces where the ellipses don't quite reach the edges (esp upper edge) but it's good overall. Make sure to keep everything snug when you're ghosting before putting down the lines.**

Ellipses in planes

The small things I might've pointed out for the first page you solved on the second, so good job. I an tell you understood the lesson. If anything - you could've filled the pages out more.

Funnels

Make sure the middle line is cutting each ellipses into equal halves. Ghost over without drawing a few times to measure it out before drawing. Another page you could've filled out more. Otherwise it's good.

Plotted perspective

Looks good.

Rough perspective

I haven't seen other people do rotated boxes (so the top and bottom lines aren't parallel to the horizon line) so I can't say if that's wrong, but I think it might've been easier like that. On the second page, middle slot, looks like you didn't ghost a lot as the lines are clearly off and going more and more to the right. Remember to ghost from the box to the dot as many times as you need to make the best estimate.

Rotated boxes

It looks all right, though making the second box less wide might've made it easier to draw the third and see it better. You definitely did better than I did in Lesson 1 so kudos.

Organic perspective

Looks like you gave up the first line - it's fine to draw imperfectly as long as you're moving forward with confidence. The other slots are fine though the boxes could've gotten even smaller and there could've been more of them, but I see you corrected that on the second page so that's good.

Overall

I think you did very well and can move on to the 250 box challenge. Remember to ghost more times before making marks and keep in mind the objective of the lesson (making things snug, the minor axis, plotting back with ghosting etc.).

Next Steps:

250 box challenge

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
