Hello and congrats on completing lesson one. I'll be looking at your homework today. Your superimposed lines look very nice. You are keeping a clearly defined starting point and keeping all of your tapering to the opposite end. Despite the tiny amount of wobble in your ghosted lines and planes I think they turned out very well. They look quite confident and fairly accurate and will just get better and better the more you practice using the ghosting method. Nice work.
Your table of ellipses is looking very good. You are doing a great job drawing through all of your ellipses and your ellipse shapes are looking pretty confident and smooth overall. There's always room for improvement but this is quite good already. This is carried over very nicely into your ellipses in planes. I like that you are shooting for a smooth ellipse shape over accuracy. While accuracy is the ultimate goal the more you practice these with confidence the more accurate they will get. Your ellipses in funnels turned out well nothing much to say here. Your ellipses are looking very good overall. Great job.
Plotted perspective looks fine nothing to mention here. Your rough perspective boxes turned out pretty good. That wobble you are talking about is a little more noticeable on some of these. This might be happening because you are reverting to drawing from your wrist on shorter lines. So that is something you can maybe look out for. You did a great job extending the lines back on your boxes to check your work. Your perspective estimations were quite good and you seem to already have a fairly intuitive understanding of how to draw in one point perspective like this.
You rotated box exercise was a good attempt. You did a good job drawing through all of your boxes and keeping your gaps narrow and consistent. Maybe a little too narrow but that's not really a big issue. So you ran into a pretty common student problem here where you aren't really rotating some of your outer boxes but are instead simply drawing them moving back in perspective. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notrotating This is a good exercise to try after the 250 box challenge to see how much your spatial thinking has improved. Finally, your organic perspective exercise turned out pretty well. You are doing a good job keeping up with the ghosting method and drawing from your shoulder to get smooth and confident linework. Your box construction already look pretty decent but you will be getting a lot of practice with this during the 250 box challenge.
This was a pretty excellent submission overall. Your ellipses in particular look quite good and your line quality is definitely improving. I think you are understanding most of the concepts these lessons are trying to teach very well. I'm going to mark this as complete and good luck with the 250 box challenge. Keep up the good work!
