Lesson 3: Applying Construction to Plants

Critique is heavily appreciated
It looks like you did a very fine job with these!
With your Organic Arrows, I see that you did a fairly good job getting the leaves to overlap, but there were a few areas where the arrows curved like there should have been a fold, but there wasn't any. On these arrows overall, I am having a hard time seeing the three dimensionality of them. I would recommend reviewing this section on that.
Your leaves and branches are largely looking good, with the only main mistake being on your branches, where your branches seem to swell in some areas instead of having a consistent width. There were a few areas with visible tails, but I feel that it isn't as big of an issue, but do still keep this in mind.
Overall I see that you have implemented the previous lessons pretty well in your plant constructions. I think that you are ready to tackle the next Lesson!

Lesson 4
These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.
Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
