Hi bluebob. I'll be handling your work and I hope this critique is of use to you and helps you improve.

For your lines

Superimposed lines are looking confident. Some fraying on the otherside is to be expected. I like that you're doing curves aswell!

Your page of ghosted lines are looking really good too. I recommend practicing page-wide ghosted lines once these go into your warm-ups.

Page of ghosted planes are looking really good, confident, and clean.

ellipses

Tables are ellipses are looking good! your second pass comes close to your first round. There's some deforming which is to be expected, but make sure you prioritize confidence and smoothness over accuracy.

Your 2 pages of ellipses in planes did not have to be completely new pages, as you could have placed them into the other pages of planes. There's some wobbling, and you should be prioritizing confidence over accuracy, Nonetheless they're looking good!

For your funnels, they're looking good!

Boxes!

Plotted perspective pages show a good understanding of two-point perspective. The hatching lines look rushed, and although optional, please do take your time with them.

Rough perspective pages are looking good. The width lines should be parallel to the horizon line, and the height lines should be perpendicular to the horizon line. On your second page of rough perspective I can see that you improved your ghosting towards the VP. There are some lines that appear to be repeated in order to fix a bad line, don't try to fix a bad line, leave it as is and pretend it's correct.

For your rotated boxes, I can see that you did the optional hatching, good practice. They're nicely packed against eachother and you show a good understanding of perspective.

And lastly, organic perspective. There are diverging lines, but you understand the point of the exercise, and as such, you've done well! Your understanding of perspective will improve with the 250 boxes challenge.

All of these will go into your 10-15 minute warm-ups, and I wish you patience with the 250 boxes challenge.

Next Steps:

250 boxes challenge!

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
