Drawing Prompt: We All Grow Up

My submission for the last prompt of the 2023 Winter Promptathon, made at the 11th hour.

Personally, as I've grown up I've found myself with less time to enjoy games due to the many responsibilities of life, so I decided that I'd quickly sketch a GBA- one of my favorite systems, sitting unused on a shelf.

Recently got some brush pens and felt like using them here. I've got a long ways to go when it comes to them and maybe this wasn't the best opportunity to use them, but I think it turned out well considering a total of 10 minutes was spent drawing this with no prior warmup after several days of not drawing.

They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
