Welcome back! Let’s take a look at this, then.
Starting with your superimposed lines, these are really well done. They’re smooth, properly lined up at the start, and of a consistent trajectory. The ghosted lines (of which you’ve got an extra page), and planes, look solid, also, though it’s hard to say for sure, because of how small your pictures are.
The table of ellipses exercise looks solid. I can tell that you’re prioritizing the smoothness/roundness of your ellipses above all. Still, I feel like another second or two spent ghosting would fix some of the accuracy issues, too – see if it does. Also, remember that ellipses inside of a frame need to maintain a consistent degree. The ellipses in planes exercise is mostly well done. Your ellipses will come out a little bumpy, sometimes, but I expect this is due to the size of the planes – the smaller you draw, the harder it is to engage the shoulder, and draw confidently. Save for some repeat spacing issues, the funnels exercise is well done – the ellipses are properly cut in half, as they should be.
Nice work on the plotted perspective exercise, it looks clean. You do have an extra page of it, though.
The rough perspective exercise starts off a little lacking, but improves considerably throughout the set. Though not strictly speaking necessary, drawing as many boxes as you’ve draw has helped you immensely. Your convergences are on-point, and your linework has improved, too.
The rotated boxes exercise, on the other hand, you’ve not gotten as much as you could’ve out of, because of how small you’ve drawn it. Drawing big is something we recommend – it gives your brain some much needed room to think. Anyway, despite that, you’ve done fairly well here; you’ve kept your boxes snug, and they’re able to rotate comfortably, as a result.
Finally, the organic perspective exercise is well done. The size of the boxes is, at times, a little inconsistent, but the boxes themselves are correct, and their foreshortening does a good job of suggesting the illusion we’re after, anyway.
Next Steps:
I’ll mark this lesson as complete, so you can feel free to move on to the box challenge. You’re free to attempt it again, if you wish, but, of returning students, we’ll usually ask for the old challenge, and 50 new boxes – up to you.
