Congratulations on completing the 250 Box Challenge! Just to let you know, TAs and Uncomfortable normally ignore student self assessments or commentary (unless there is a question) so as not to contaminate your critique. Back to your critique!

You did pretty well on the challenge overall. You do have a few pages in the beginning where you didn't draw through your boxes correctly. So I will just remind you that you should always keep the instructions for a given assignment on hand and refer back to them frequently as you work so that you know you are completing each assignment correctly and to the best of your current ability. Now when I move past those pages and look at your work as a whole I can see that you were fairly consistent in your construction. Your lines stay relatively straight and confident throughout the challenge and by the end your lines appear more confident and smoother overall. You also do a better job of getting your sets of lines to converge consistently towards their shared vanishing points. Good job!

I noticed that on some of your boxes you have lines scribbled out or corrected. Remember that when you are working through Drawabox you are not meant to correct or cover up any mistakes that you may make. Mistakes happen, but a smooth, confident mark is still useful even if it's a little off. What is more important is making sure that you are drawing your lines using the ghosting method to create smooth, confident and straight lines.

One thing I would like to encourage you to try in the future is adding some additional weight to your lines, as shown here.

Finally while your convergences do improve overall I think this diagram will help you further develop that skill as you continue through Drawabox. So, when you are looking at your sets of lines you want to be focusing only on the lines that share a vanishing point. This does not include lines that share a corner or a plane, only lines that converge towards the same vanishing point. Now when you think of those lines, including those that have not been drawn, you can think about the angles from which they leave the vanishing point. Usually the middle lines have a small angle between them, and this angle will become negligible by the time they reach the box. This can serve as a useful hint.

Congrats again on completing the 250 Box Challenge and good luck with lesson 2!
